MVD Free Airport is set to join Pharma.Aero, a powerful cross-industry collaboration for Pharma Shippers, CEIV certified cargo communities, Airport Operators and other air cargo industry stakeholders, with a vision to make end-to-end pharma shipping more reliable.
Pharma.Aero aims to improve pharma handling and quality in the air cargo industry. CEIV is the pillar in which the Pharma.Aero organization is founded on and all members have to be fully CEIV certified before being able to join. Members include Mumbai International Airport, Pfizer, Singapore’s Changi Airport, Brussels Airlines, Singapore Airlines, Brinks Life Sciences and Johnson & Johnson.
MVD Free Airport has built a 11,000 m3 cool chain facility within tax-exempt premises, the only such one in South America at an airport. Connections include freighters and belly operators, with extensive shipments sent via truck to neighbors Brazil, Paraguay, Argentina and Chile.
