MVD Free Airport is resuming the construction of Phase 2 of its pharma warehousing master plan, with new estimated completion date Q2 2021. After halting the construction due to the complex global sanitary context, work will resume within the next month given the need for additional capacity for its existing operations as well as new regional distribution operations that are currently being implemented.
These include a secondary conditioning line for distribution of oncological products in Brazil as well as a regional distribution operation of animal health and biotechnology products throughout Latin America.
“We are continuously striving to stay one step ahead of our client’s needs, understanding their time-sensitivity”, said Maximiliano Lema, Head of Client Advisory at MVD Free Airport. “The Pharma Hub II will provide us with additional capacities in the +15+25 and +2+8 temperature ranges as well as a new secondary conditioning area and office space”.
The construction is set to resume inDecember 2020 with an estimated completion date in May 2021.
