MVD Free Airport was recently awarded by IATA the CEIV Pharma re-certification. This is a significant milestone for the entire organization and a confirmation that the efforts commenced several years back to prepare MVD for world-class pharmaceutical distribution services are now embedded in the organizational strategy, culture and day-to-day.
“We are very happy to have received the recertification,” mentioned Karin Salles, Head of Quality Assurance at MVD Free Airport. “While there are still details that need to be worked on in the near future, from a structural perspective MVD’s capabilities are highly competitive and sustainable, a very favorable scenario on which to continue improving.”
This is not the only initiative for the year regarding certifications. MVD has commenced the GMP validation of all critical systems including its WMS, alarm monitoring systems and HVAC systems with an estimated completion date of September 2021.
