MVD Free Airport, the only 3PL in South America that combines a tax-exemption regime, multimodal transport, primary and secondary packaging capabilities and location inside an airport has launched Pharma Hub I, a new state-of-the-art cold-chain warehouse dedicated exclusively to pharmaceutical products.
As a key component of its value proposition, the Pharma Hub I is designed in accordance with the specific requirements of leading global pharma players, to ensure alignment with even the most demanding global quality standards. Three temperature ranges (15-25, 2-8 and freezer), automated data capturing and real-time monitoring and immediate client access to critical data are part of the architecture designed to safeguard cargo and provide clients with full ownership of information.
Totaling over 10.000 m3, the Pharma Hub I is the first stage of MVD Free Airport’s master infrastructure plan for regional distribution of pharmaceutical products. Today, cargo arriving by air, sea and land is consolidated in the Pharma Hub I where late-customization activities are performed and re-shipped to Brazil, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Paraguay as well as the rest of South America.
MVD Free Airport is a business unit of Corporación America, the largest airport operator in the world with a network of over 50 airports across 3 continents.
