MVD Airport sets up vaccination center in record time

The Montevideo Airport has, alongside the Uruguayan Ministry of Health recently inaugurated three vaccination centers on its premises, collaborating with government efforts to expedite the vaccination process as much as possible. The vaccination centers will be the only ones in the country that will remain open 7 days a week.

All vaccination will be performed without the patients exiting their vehicles, in order to reduce time frames and maximize output. There will be three distinct steps in the process: The first will be the introduction of the patient and the corroboration of all personal data. After this, the patient will be vaccinated to then park for a period of between 15-30 minutes prior to being released.

The inauguration of the vaccination centers is another example of the airport’s commitment Uruguay and its willingness to think outside the box to contribute innovative solutions for the benefit of the country.
