As part of its strategic approach to continue specializing in pharmaceutical distribution and logistics, LACC is developing serialization traceability capabilities in anticipation to the changing regulatory framework in the region. Given the implications that supply chain of pharmaceutical products will need to be traceable at a unitary level throughout the entirety of the value chain, having these capabilities designed and functional has become a priority for LACC, in its strive to always be one step ahead of the requirement.
“We have already identified a key partner in Verifarma, a trusted player that is already engaged with several leading pharmaceutical players for these and other similar purposes”, mentioned Hans Guiscardo, Senior Manager at Latin America Cargo City. “We are undergoing the diligence and mapping processes and will soon resume in interfacing systems and installing and configuring hardware and software”, he concluded.
LACC will be in position to providing serialization traceability services throughout Q3 2022.
