LACC Incorporates New QA and Pharma Ops Manager to Leadership Team

In response to the growth of its pharmaceutical business unit and the integration of operations with greater complexity and sophistication, LACC has strengthened its management team to meet upcoming challenges.

LACC has successfully onboarded its new Quality Manager and Technical Director, Valeria Estrugo, who brings over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with the past 12 years at Merck KGaA, in various leadership roles, including international positions in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Excellence in Quality, and Quality Culture.

Karina Salles, the former Quality Assurance Manager, has taken on a new role as LACC’s Pharmaceutical Operations Manager. She reports to LACC’s Operations Manager, overseeing daily operations, planning, and serving as a key point of contact for clients. LACC has also welcomed three supply chain analysts with strong engineering backgrounds to assist with planning, reporting, and process automations.

Furthermore, given LACC’s ongoing IT system upgrades and the need for customized interfaces in engagements with global pharmaceutical players, LACC has appointed Agustina Parrilla as Head of Project Management and Engineering.

LACC faces numerous demanding challenges, the development of its pharmaceutical regional distribution center being pivotal to its long-term strategy. Every step taken, from strengthening the team to improving infrastructure and revamping information systems, moves LACC closer to that goal.
