Latin America Cargo City is currently designing the executive projects for the building of two additional warehouses, one for general cargo and one for ecommerce. The total area to be developed in a first stage is over 3000 m2 within its current premises in the southernmost wing of the logistics free zone.
“We are very excited about this opportunity”, mentioned Max Lema, Advisory and Implementation Manager at Latin America Cargo City. “Even though our main focus for the past years has been developing new solutions for the pharmaceutical industry, we’ve also detected a growing interest from the e-commerce, spare parts and high tech industries. We are thus enhancing our infrastructure to meet their needs and provide solutions specifically tailored to these industries”.
Set within Latin America Cargo City’s logistic free zone, the warehouses will have direct access to the runway in Uruguay main international airport, as well as to the road, allowing for multimodal logistics set-ups with all the tax, legal and customs benefits of being located inside an airport free zone, and an easy and efficient access to regional distribution.
Latin America Cargo City is part of Corporación America, the largest airport operator in the world with a network of over 50 airports across 3 continents.
